When designing the former Wolff Palace, we were inspired by the high-rise urban construction and steep pitched roofs of  civic buildings in Debrecen. The three-story extension hidden in a large roof shape contains 35 hotel rooms and proportionally complements the existing building, so that it fits better into its urban context. The facade system of the new building part is visually separated from the existing one, still with the emerging cornices and facade columns, it follows the logical elements of the historic building facade in a contemporary design language.
